I enjoyed every page of this book! It was structured very well, the pacing was fast and no unnecessary details were mentioned. I am a fan of the Peeta-Katniss love team and I loved how this book gave me more of that than the Gale-Katniss stuff.

On the first book, I was left with a sigh of relief knowing that Katniss survived the hunger games and became a victor along with Peeta. However, it’s a big surprise to know that the aftermath of the hunger games and their victory brings more trouble, endangering their lives and the lives of the people they love including Haymitch, Gale and other victors from the past. President Snow is as beautifully evil as ever. There is just so much juice in this one!

We all know how Hunger Games was so great and awesome and everyone loved it. But in Catching Fire, you will indisputably love the characters more. It’s great that you get to know the characters better as it will give you a clearer picture of their motives.

This book has a lot of intoxication, gruesome killings, kissing, sleeping together in one bed (Peeta and Katniss or Gale and Katniss? Hmmm…), a lot of weird behavior which will make sense by time to you reach the last pages of the book. Awesome read! I highly recommend it. Once you put down this book, you won’t even take a breather before getting started with the Mockingjay. An easy 5 stars out of 5!

Best,

lime green
